About Us

Our Community Centre lies within the stunning and historical YMCA building on Grantown's High Street. ​

Well placed for meetings and gatherings, the building has undergone significant renovation to keep it in good use, including the installation of a lift to make the upper floor accessible to all.

Grantown on Spey YMCA Community Centre is a registered Charity and is regulated by the OSCR.

Our purpose is:
• The advancement of education
• The advancement of citizenship or community development
• The provision of recreational facilities
• The organisation of recreational activities

With the object of:
• Improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended
​• The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
